Getting GTA:SA tonight?

My Gamestop is supposed to be going to get it directly from the airport at around 5pm tonight and should have it in the store by 7pm. Plan on buying it then otherwise I'll be camping out at Walmart tonight at midnight :)

Oysters are the equivalent of the underwater hidden package, find them all for a reward

As for ragdoll physics I heard they are using somethign called impact animation, which is what they used in Manhunt, some people say its the same thing I don't really know.

Another fact: you can steal any aircraft now (including commerical airliners) And you can parachute out of them (after taking a flying school thing). You can also hijack trains I believe.

The game conquers VC by far. So much going on. The world feels much more alive than previous games. The city is fuckin HUGE. I trained at the gym til my muscle stat was full. My character looks like the incredible hulk. Went shopping at a few clothes stores which you can buy stuff for Torso, Legs, Shoes, Watches, Shades and Hats.

Man I hate being at work wanting to play this damn game. This is the GTA we have been waiting for.

As for missions there has already been a nice mix of variety. You start out with your first vehicle you get to ride is a bicycle which you have to get away from a gang shooting/chasing you in a car,
three passanger drive-bys, breaking into a house and robbing it (which after that mission you can do at night when not on a mission but need a certain loading truck to do it), spraying your tag over rival signs (out of 100) and your basic kill/drive.

Stealth kills with the knife are fun, you sneak up to a target from behind while holding R1 to target and then attack. CJ slits their throat and they fall dead. I also pulled a nice kill on a bobcat driver. Jumped in the back of the pickup and pulled out a pistol (yes, we have manual aim to for these guns for PS2 this time) and shot the guy from the back of the pickup in the head.

You also get new fighting skills. At the LS gym you learn a helpful fury punch combo, a running attack and a cool on the ground punch.

I guess e-mule is another P2P program so hashing is used to verify large chunks of data.
The data is split into small pieces which are individually hashed then hashed together until one root hash is formed. All of your share will need to be hashed to begin with but once it is done only new files need to be hashed.
One of the good things about hashing the data is that when looking for alternate sources for a download it does not need to look at the file name and just the hash of the file, as indentical files will have an identical hash, this also means the possiblility of downloading a corrupt file form a source is reduced.

Found some flowers (not sure what to do with them except beat people with em) and a classic car next to a car wash. It had pimping missions. After finishing em now hookers pay you to have sex with them. :lol I also jazzed up my low-rider at the car shop. New hydraulics, wheels, exhaust, paint job (one I picked looks like the Diablo Stallion in GTA3), new interior and chrome siding. Pretty cool stuff. There should be other car shops later on but this one only lets you bring in low-riders. I swam accross to the other city and the cops got pissed cause I wasn't supposed to leave and gave me a 4 star rating just for getting to the other side. Cool that you can get over there still but like in the others, they want you to work on one city at a time to start out.

I'm at 10.70% complete only but have been exploring like hell. This game is so massive.

Yeah I heard that too and posted that in the lists of features in this thread the other day. Right now I can't do anything with them except attack people with em though. It's actually quite a powerful melee weapon.

Going underwater is cool too and you gain lung capacity the more you do it. Hidden stuff under the water too... man way too much to explore!

It is pretty hard. I JUST tried it, and killed Freddie, but I couldnt OG Loc...He was underneath the freeway I was on. I jumped down, died, started bawling like a little girl, and posted on the I-Mockery Boards, apparently where dreams come true.

I fucked up a bunch in one of them (one in San Fierro, first one where you meet my favorite character in the game, Wu Zi Mu) and I still won--I ran into a barn, backed up OUT of the barn, hit a side of the barn, went foward, backed out of the barn finally and caught up to them and beat them, with a span of about ten seconds.

But now my game somehow got fucking scratched, so I'm done until I can fix it. 25% y'all :(

Use the car that is outside Catalina's house. It has good handling offroad, and good speed too.

In these offroad races, it is real easy to win. If you take your time and concentrate on the road, you can pull a win. If you pull a driveby on the other drivers, you can't kill them but they might panic and pull off the road.

I beat Supply Lines on the 5th try, after I figured out that you can steer the plane around on the ground by using the L2 and R2 buttons (just using the stick just makes it tip but the shoulders control the rudder and wheels, though it really should be the other way around).

Supply lines is still hard, though, cause you need to bring the baron BACK after killing all those people, and I whooped each one's ass in under 4 seconds and I still barely made it back.

The mission after supply lines is pretty fun, and then you get Zero's garage as a property that makes money, up to $5k, which is pretty much worthless. Hooray! Valet missions are gay, too, but easy, and give you the hotel as property that makes money, up to $2k.

Okay I don't know how to do the following things so if someone could tell me it'd help ;<

- Is there any form of mass transport aside from the train?

- And also, is there any way to ride the train without jacking it?

- Where do i find parachutes and how do i do these skydiving things ;<

- Is there a pilot school in San Fierro?

1. Yes the airports will take you to whichever city you want. U can jump out of the plane and parachute where you want or skip the flight and be taken to the other city's airport

2. Not that I know of except getting on top of it. Haven't messed much with the train though

3. Parachutes are on high places. Mountain in San Fierro I think is the earliest place you can get one. You also automatically get a parachute when you jump out of a plane. You just freefall and hit O to open the parachute then land. Holding back decreases your fall and moves you forward at a slightly faster speed.

4. The pilot school is in Venturas.

Just constantly hold down the gas and fire from far away as possible while still hitting the targets for the ones that shoot back. The ones up North suck but if you kill the 3 that are close quick enough, you can do it. The mission after is a walk in the park.

Don't bother with that last post, it's all lies.

I got gold in all the flying school shit, but the helicopter shooting one is by far the hardest. Here's what I did:

- Go to 1st person mode. You have a target now, so it's way easier to shoot rockets after you get used to the screen weaving this way and that.

- Get somewhat near the ground and go very slow up to the trucks, blow them up ;<

- Use R2 to turn around, then head after the cars.

- Get really close and fire in front of them.

- Use R2 to turn around again, switch back to 3rd person mode, and line up on the runway way ahead of time, because if you do anything but a picture perfect landing, the game gets very homosexually upset with you.

First Person Mode is generally best for Driving School as well, i've discovered. Keeps those fuckin' cones and bikes from popping up out of nowehere on ya.

They're all easy. The last one lets you hit anything, you just can't do a complete 180. Switch to first-person view.

Every school (haven't tried boating yet) has one test that's virtually impossible to get gold on. For driving, it's the 5-lap course, or bikes, it's the ramp and stoppie, and for planes it's the helicopter target practice. ;<

The bike one I have no idea how to do, the car one is basically just impossible.

Supply Lines wasn't that agonizing. It sucked ass controlling the plane at first, but minimizing use of the joystick made it a helluva lot easier to steer around, and as long as you decelerate to gun down the couriers, you're fine. Too bad no one needs that news now >:

As far as flight school I think theres just parachuting and then you get your liscense.

Then there are airfield missions, all of which are awesome.

yeah, I finally beat the game. Just stick with the aircraft missions, after you pass flying school, the jetpack is delivered to your airstrip. It makes travelling around incredibly easy since there's none of the pesky landing, and you don't have to woryy about different terrains. I wouldn't recommend using it for fighting, but if you do use it while in gunfights it does allow for you to fly away to safety while you regain your bearings.
