AVI to DVD

So yeah, the easiest and/or most efficient way of getting AVI onto DVD?

At the moment, I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing. I've tried looking at a few FAQs and asking through messengers but it seems like everybody uses different software and different methods.

Note that said AVI file is straight from the internet. I have the md5 sum if that helps at all, but the file is not backed up from anything already in my posession.

If you have a DVD burning program it will convert it for you. The one I got is called Intervideo windvd creator i got it with the burner its pretty good. The only file I havent got it to convert into a .vob is real movie crap.
