Its ok. It gets a bit confusing towards the end though. Battle Royale is better IMO.

battle royale is so overrated it's not even funny. overhyped by western fans becuase of its excessive 'violence'. its only redeeming quality is that iori-ripoff character with the uzi who adds comic relief.

true dat. The movie was ok but far from what people made it to be and the sencond movie flat out sucked. ITK is a good movie though read the manga its really good also

Battle Royale may be the big jackoff for the cool kids about a year ago, but it's still a really strong movie. The violence is that "OMG SO COOL" factor among a lot of people, but the story and development is really great for people who aren't just watching it for the gore.

Ichi's good too. The confusion is Miike's signature, I think. He did the same thing in Audition, but he's actually more coherent in Ichi. Still a good film, though.

You wanna talk about overrated movies? Try watching Lost in Translation.

Battle Royale the book was fucking awesome. I havn't seen the movie yet thou.
