Just watching a program where people bitch about how computer games make kids kill people.
Oh man i hate these assholes, but even more, i hate the kids that go out and kill somone then blame a game in an attempt to get off going to jail, fucking twats.
In the program i was watching there was some kids parents saying 'After my sons killed some guy i had a closer look at grand theft auto and found out how truly horrible it was blah blah and now i want all games ever banned blah blah' Its fucking retarded.

One of my favourite quotes goes something like 'If games really affected people we would all be sitting in darkened rooms, listening to repetative electronic music and eating pills.' :lol

I remember when I first played Max Payne I bought two cap guns and leaped around the house shooting people while yelling "ITS PAYNE!" But I never really went out and shoot people becasue that is wrong.

This type of stuff doesn't get anywhere though, just a bunch of talk. We escape reality when we play a video game. After the game is over, people need to step back past that line into reality again. If they don't then it's simple, they have some kind of problem differentiating reality from fiction and need mental help.

If a violent game causes people to kill people then a non violent game like Mario Bros would make me go and jump on turtles.

People love to blame other factors other than themselves. We do it all the time. These are no different, just on a more serious scale.

on soem Site i was on it said that "the boy was looking forward as you would bein a game such as Half-Life or Wolftenstein. Thats how his class mates could come up behind him without him noticing."

And also in relation to the incident talked about they compared the Accurracy of a kid in a cafeteria full of other students to two cops shooting at a blakc guy reching for his passport a bood 6 yards away and in the dark and were amazed at how the kid could be more adept at shooting people.
