This actually ran on TV last night. It's a word-for-word translation of the US original, but the nanny isn't Jewish anymore and half the jokes are references to Turkish pop-culture (Aiaiai, now I know what it must be like to be Olmek Vabayava HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!). Apparently, there's an Argentinian version of it as well.
Now I'll have to keep watching that damn channel in case a Slovaki version of Fresh Prince shows up.

SBS. About 3am. I only saw it once.
The nanny had to keep her parents out of the house! I've never seen it again.

how can it be a "word-for-word translation" of the original when "half the jokes are references to turkish pop-culture"?

Simple. You replace every instance of "Liza Minelli" and "Barbra Streisand" with "Yugmuri Bobjec" and "Barbrug Stressjec"

Yeah. I thought I should write down the Turkish celebrity that appeared to be the equivalent to Babs for future reference, but I didn't have anything to write on.
Also, has anyone ever ordered anything from 5minutestolive.com? I want some of those Turkish movies, but don't know if I trust the site.
