It takes away airtime from the "good' shows because their target demographic, 10-15 year olds, are gone at school during the morning hours. Meanwhile, the preschoolers who Nick Jr. targets stay at home and watch the programming nick provides in order to stimulate their young minds because dozens of overpriced psychologists told them it would. Why the fuck do you watch Nickelodeon anyway?
