A friend asked me to name 20 of my favorite movies in no particular order and my response went like this... "Well... Rocky, Full Metal Jacket, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Bubba Ho-Tep..." At that point my friend goes "What the hell are Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Bubba Ho-Tep?" It was at that point I started explaining the wonders of Bruce Campbell.
I don't know why, but I am just drawn into a lot of his characters and movies. Whether it be Ash in the Evil Dead series or Brisco County Jr, or even the Surgeon General in Escape from LA, I can't help but like his character and the movie. The funny part is, I realize he isn't even really an A-List actor by any means, but he is almost as well known as any A-List actor today.
Anyways, I figure there must be others who feel the way I do, and maybe not just about Bruce Campbell. (Don't lie, I know there must be a few of you out there who like a movie just because Johnny Depp, Charlton Heston, Jenna Jameson is in it.)
