I have it, but I only browsed through it because I got San Andreas and the Get A Life DVDs with it. From what I read was funny though.

I read the hole thing, and Its very funny. Its done in textbook style with good visuals and entertaing but somewhat informative writing by Jon Stuart.

I highly reccomend this book. Buy it now, don't think twice. There are a few jokes that were recycled either from or into Daily Show episodes, but those are few and far between. This book is a must-own for any cynical bastard out there.

The best thing about America the Book is how frighteningly true it really is. It is not just a bunch of Bush jokes in textbook format. It is a cynical look at just about everything that is wrong with the country since its inception. It should be required reading in schools. How much would that rock?!

I don't know there's a page with dicks and boobs I don't think the schools will be all over it :(

I think students really need to learn how small the supreme court's dicks are. It would drive home the fact that they're only in it because of their Napoleon complexes

Not quite as funny as I expected. It was good but it was only really enjoyable when I imagined Jon Stewart reading it aloud to me.
In a similar vein, Wigfield (the book by Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert.... ok Strangers with Candy is easier) wasn't as funny as I expected either.
Maybe I just don't laugh at books. May be.
