Try to find character witnesses for THAT one.

McMock
Nov 20th, 2004, 12:56 PM
Way to go! Pretty soon now poor old McMock will be beneath you and we'll never talk and play like we used to when we were ten. When you're out there jetsetting, think back to the 'hood sometimes, okay? Think back of your old friend McMock, and the crazy adventures we ... I can't go on talking I'm too emotional. Go! GO! And could you take out the garbage and put it on the front curb when you leave?

Once again, it just proves why people hate lawyers. No matter if you win or loose, they ALWAYS get paid! It doesn't matter if they do a good job or not.

FS

Unless they USE THE FORCE, right

McMock
Nov 22nd, 2004, 11:02 AM
Yes because the force is real, right?

Oh no what a fool I am making of myself here, taking what FS said seriously, because I see now that it was a joke. I must have mistaken it for a non-joke on account of it's unfunnyness.

glowbelly
Nov 22nd, 2004, 11:11 AM
or on account of YOUR "unfunnyness" >:

Wow you're dumb. I guess it just proves that "people are generally dumb." Or maybe it's just you.

Whoo, Simpsons quoteyness:

Could you imagine a world without lawyers?

*scene of world peace*

Eww...

Why are lawyers always depicted as evil, scum of the Earth kinda people? Is it because they are in it to make money or something?

FS

"second most hated person?" I think you're giving yourself too much credit, most people can't distinct you from the other idiots.

Imadjinn
Nov 23rd, 2004, 05:05 AM
I am OFFICIALLY second most hated person based on the votes in that Most Hated Person of 2004 topic.

But that was only people who could be bothered to vote and that amounted to about 20-odd people.

Alright I'll change the sig just for you.

May I ask as to WHY you have just referred to me as a retard?

Maybe the whole scum of the Earth stereotype of lawyers is accurate...

punkgrrrlie10
Nov 24th, 2004, 12:47 PM
Maybe you're incapable of telling joke from fact. Maybe you're incapable of differentiating between a stereotype and individual people. Maybe you don't realize what it is different lawyers do. Maybe you're incapable of induction or deduction. Maybe you haven't realized the type of forum you are posting on. Maybe you're just a retard.

kellychaos

Maybe you think that you're safe on the internets like that retard who threw the cup at Ron Artest at the Pistons' game but believe me you buddy this lawyer is one woman that will hunt you down ... and serve you a warrant for stupidity. >:

Comrade Rocket
Nov 29th, 2004, 06:43 PM
well maybe you can help me out now.

I work at a bowling alley. If you dont know we coat the lanes with oil twice a day and take it off at night. Because of this the lanes become very slippery. The other day a man walked out onto the lane, slipped, fell and hurt his back.

he is now suing the bowling alley. He claims that we didnt post any signs telling people to not go onto the lanes. We do have three signs, two on each wall and one in the middle on a post between lanes. The signs are somewhat small and i could understand how someone could overlook them but he was on the farthest right lane which means that he had a sign right next to him.

I guess im asking, does he have a valid case? I have seen many other people walking in our lanes and i always have to scold them for doing such. Also, he might have been drunk.

Emu
Nov 29th, 2004, 06:47 PM
No, because you'd have to be an absolute nimrod to walk out on a bowling lane and not expect to fall.

Comrade Rocket
Nov 29th, 2004, 06:52 PM
thats what i said, but his case is going through

Emu
Nov 29th, 2004, 07:05 PM
If, somehow, this gets to court, try getting pictures of the signs and some kind of proof that they were there before the date of his fall. Maybe if they're particularly old signs you could point out something like dust collection or imprints on the walls and whatnot.

Then again, I'm not the lawyer here. :(
