It's only a matter of time, kellychaos. I figure it's only three more months until stockholm syndrome kicks in. And then... free love for me!

I should specify that I don't want you to recommend me any of YOUR favourites. I only want comics that resemble the ones I listed. But thanks anyway, Gadzooks.

fables was really good when i first started reading it but i had to quit because i was spending too much money at the comic book
store and we needed to save :(
i have the first trade of transmetropolitan and it made me giggle, but again, i had to quit buying comics so i can save money for a house.

I liked Preacher but I don't think it's on the same level as Watchmen. It was too violent and too shallow.
Glowbelly: Did you know you can download comic books illegally from the internet? I got me the entire series of sandman, preacher, v for vendetta, watchmen and transmetropolitan this way. Gonna try your suggestion fables next.
Dole: shut up you orange piece of shit.

Your exboy friend tarnishes my excellent reputation by associating me with gay things. I had to insult him. And if that's not enough reason to insult him, he IS a piece of shit too so I wasn't even making it up.

Didn't Luther Vandross have a comic book called "Soul Assasin", or did I dream that up.

I'm sorry, I appreciate your suggestions, I really do.
Fables is great, I downloaded the entire series. It's got this watchmen -like feeling to it. You know... fitting the storycharacters into our world, just like Moore fitted the superheroes into our normal world.
Helm: Planetary, too, is great, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I didn't even know that transmetropolitan guy had a new comic out.
Keep them coming, all a youse, or suffer a fate almost worse than fleeting mild discomfort.
