I kinda gave up after their Seadog's, "sequal." Biggest letdown of all time.

no the necronomicon is an arcane book written in the eight century by the "mad arab"
the one who translated it was a monk from new york called simon.
simon gave the manuscript to lovecraft.

I ventured to my boarders book store but alas in my long journey I became hungry and spent my money on food. So even though I found one of the last copys I could not pay for it because the book was $12 and I only had $10 left of my treasure. So close yet so far...one day I to will hold great power like you marine then all those kids will stop making fun of me in gym class...one day......

How could buying a book that you don't know is illegal get you arrested, or are you planning on mystically informing the authorities by chanting over and over again in your mystical Lovecraft language?

The only people in Alabama that are allowed to read are the Ministers so they can tell what not to read aloud from the Bible in church, like everything in it.
