You may remember that I asked for Mega Man OST's a while back, and Strummer played hero and rescued me from having to take the NSF's, put them into .WAV and then change them to .mp3.
But, I know, some of you are saying "But Schimid! I wanted to be your hero!". Well, now, you can!
I need the Earthworm Jim OST's. I'm-a-fixin' to work on some of the songs ( Lorenzo's Soil, in particular ), but I'd like to have all of them, in .mp3 format.
I would normally think this doesn't exist, but after the discovery of Protoman.com, I'm feeling kinda lucky. Pleeease? :(

i wish i had a sound file of a trumpet going "wah wah waaaaaaaah"
Thanks, but SPC's are kinda a lotta work. I'll go to them if I have to, but that'd mean I have to turn the files to .WAV and then convert them to .MP3. Plus, I'd have to add a Fade-Out to all of them, 'cause I'm weird like that.

well.. ah mean :o most spc players are a lil more advanced than nsf ones. you can tells it where you want it to end, an itll fade out for you. so.. you could jus put some generic setting like 2 minutes an tell every song to end there. batchconvert an batchencode :o it wouldn't be that troublesome :(

whoawhoawhoa, seriously? :eek
I only use Meridian Advance, since that covers anything. Can you throw out any names that can do this type of stuff? I'd be willing to just put the fade-out at 3:00 and let it loop...since the stuff is supposed to be more advanced anyway, mebbe it can do the converting for me?
and nah, I don't have any of my stuff online yet. I might get a webhost soon, but first I need enough...stuff to work with. I like Trance and D'n'B, but I don't have the equipment for either, so right now I'm just formulating ideas and loops that I might create later using samples from these games I <3 so well.
The Mega Man ones, I just synced up a generic backbeat under "Topman" from Mega Man 3 (One-a me fav'rites), trying to get used to my new Numark CD-Mix 1's. They're lame, but it's better than nothing.

If I remember correctly, the song used in Lorenzo's Soil is just Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata."

i was thinkin of the snesamp winamp plugin specifically. you can set how long the tracks are an the fadeout time. umm.. default is 2:50 with 10 second fadeout i think :o an you can jus put all your spcs on the playlist an choose the diskwriter thing as your output an press play :o

I have high quality versions of the songs on my EWJ1 CD-rom. If you want, I could rip them to mp3.
Unfortunately I sold off my EWJ2 CD ages ago >: These games had such great music. Oddly enough, Lorenzo's soil wasn't in the PC version of EWJ2 though.
I got a few sound effects somewhere on my hard drive to: Jim shouting "groovy!" and stuff.

Whoa, I didn't even know I could do this stuff.
Got SNESAmp, I've just put the time to 2:50 and the fade-out to 10 seconds. I just go through, open a RAR, do all the tracks, rename them, and move on.
I got EW1 and 2 so far, gonna get more later. Strummer sorta kinda saves the day again, sorry guys. :o
