Know what the most recent resume credit Kerik (The guy W wants to be the new secretary of Homeland Security) has? He was in charge of training the Iraqi Police force. So you KNOW this is a real good guy! 'Cause the Iraqi Police force has done such a bang up job of being human targets, abandoning their posts, selling their weapons (which we bought from Jordan for about twice the price we could have found them in Iraq) getting really good training (1.2 billion worth over period of time when more than one European country offereed to train them FOR FREE) . Plus, Kerik said he'd stay at least six months or UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE and then left after four months.
I am so very, very happy, a stick to it kind of guy with a proven track record is going to be watching out for our country.

Well, that was quick. Nanny problems are a very bad thing for a man who's nominated to be in charge of immigration. Why is it so hard for privilidged Republicans to obey the law?
At least this will spare him the embarassment of having to explain to the senate why he did such an enormously shitty job training the police force in Iraq and how he spent all that money and failed to get them trained and how he quit before he said he would and how these things make him qualified for a much larger job.
Who WILL Bush pick next? Is Barney Fife available?

I really don't know what possessed Bush to pick Kerick. Bratton, sure. Rudy, ya. Hell, we could spend all day naming better candidates.
Even before Iraq, Kerick had a rep as a horrible administrator, which is what Homeland Security Director essentially is.

Yes, but did he have the dog-like loyalty of a boot licking yes man born? Because that's the main thing you look for in a cabinet posting. I mean, the guy could be a quadrapalegic border line reatrded sociopath, but as long as he had the dog-like loyalty of a boot licking yes man born and no Nanny problems, he'd be perfect for the job.

I think he looks like a miniature version of Jesse Ventura.
