I actually think that EA makes good games. I love the SSX series and most of their racing titles, but the fact that they're rolling along and eating everything in their path isn't good. Maybe I'm wrong, but this makes me believe that creativity in the industry is dying. Prince Of Persia resorted to "hardcore" themes in order to compete with games like GTA.

Soon we'll only have Microsoft and EA here in the U.S. Maybe Squinix will still be around, but that's only because of their Japanese market.

I'm no fan of EA. I can't stand how they make below-average sports games year after year and people still buy into them. It disgusts me because EA has stopped thinking about the gamers, and started to think only on how much money is in their pocket >:. Fuck EA. 20% of Ubisoft?? That is fucking insane... Ubisoft is one of the most successful developers of recent years, and based here in my lovely home of Montreal. This is a sad, sad day for video games.

Ubisoft is mostly a publisher. So it's publishers buying publishers. The few games that it's made weren't that good, and EA and them deserve each other.
