:lol

This is the latest in the boycott of France movement. Seriously, if people are willing to go this far, your country is already halfway down the shitter.

Yes, because no other country in the world has idiots, right?

There's a difference between regular idiots and idiots who want to make a name for themselves.

And do they only exist in America?

When we conquer Canada, we will throw you into forced labor in the name of freedom, democracy, and patriotism.

Proto, you left out "Freedom" Ticklers :lol

Is it really THAT bad that we need to dig up people that have been dead for half a century and bring them back? Why not just pull out all our embassies? Any citizens in their country? WHY NOT GIVE THEM BACK THEIR STATUE OF LIBERTY FOR CHRISSAKES?

This is just plain getting out of hand. Embargos and protests and the like are one thing, but to drag out half-decomposed bodies and actually waste tax dollars hauling them across the Atlantic is another puppy entirely. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if these exhumations (is that a real word) were privately funded, OK, but seeing as they are trying to pass legislation on it, I don't see that happening.

Man, first I'm paying taxes for public schools when students are getting fucking stupider and stupider, and NOW I have to help foot the bill to get a dead guy who in idea I support because he fought for my freedom but personally I have no emotional stake invested in? Unless someone does manage to point out that this will be privately funded, I'm against it.

Did European countries put embargos on the U.S. when we didn't want to jump into WWII?

How is this getting out of hand? We have always had windbags in government. The internet just makes it easier for all of us to see them.

Does anyone honestly think we are going to dig up all of Potter's field and all the other grave sites we have over there over this shit? Come on. Let the idiot toot his own horn. He just wants attention and seem uber-patriotic.

Personally, I think we should leave the graves there as a reminder of what freedom costs. Maybe run an ad campaign encouraging them to visit it more often.
