Yeah I watched a guy play the GC demo and was wowed. He shot a cow with a shotgun, then got his head cut off by the chainsaw dude ;>

I'm glad they've apparently brought back violent character deaths, although he got maimed by zombies too and that was a little weak, just the typical slump over stuff ;<

This game is awesome. I just beat one of the bosses. That chainsaw "not zombie" makes a awesome stalker. Just listening to him revving up his chainsaw while he looks for a way cut your head off Rocks.

Is there a reason for the Outbreak in this game? I'm stuck wondering to myself on how it could happen because it supposed to take place sevral years after Code:Veronica (the most chronologically recent one) And after that game they just ignored the assault on White-Umrellas' HQ in europe.

I just got this game about a week ago (haven't got the chainsaw controller yet) and goddamn, it's is so much fun to play. They obviously had some of the most talented texture artists in the business working on this thing, because it's by far the most beautiful looking console game I've ever played. Definitely the best Resident Evil game I've played too... the controls seem a lot more natural than in the previous games.

Oh yeah, last night? El Giganto squashed me :(

In the sewers underneath the castle, when the giant bugs are released, if your health is low and they latch onto you and spit that acid they spit on you, you die, sans face.

I'm fond of being eaten by the giant fish, myself.

If you get hit with a chainsaw it cuts your head clean off.

You don't know how pissed off I got at that part. I figured that like all RE games, you had to be at low health to be killed by an instant death attack, and that chainsaw proved me wrong a few times.

The same thing can happen if you get sidewhacked by one of those tortured prisoner guys with the Wolverine claws. :(

I can't say I remember that ever happening, but I found out the hard way that the parasites in the armor could decapitate you despite your health.

I remember desperately blasting at them with the shotgun before I figured out you can kill the parasites in one hit with the flash grenades >:

When you're fighting the two Gigante in the mineshaft or whatever, there's a large trap door in the middle of the room that you can drop one of them in to. If you get too close to it while it's dying, it'll grab you and pull you down with it. :(

Edit: Did you guys ever realize you can use chicken eggs as weapons? :x I bet a Gold Egg kills half the bosses in one hit.

I dunno, but that thing freaked me the fuck out. I fired a good six rounds into it before i realized what was going on. That whole room was wicked twisted.
