Zelda: The Minish Cap

Has anyone played this yet? I went to pick it up yesterday but they were sold out, and they might get a new shipment today.

How is it?

It's a fairly short game, with only about 5 or 6 dungeons, and I hated the entire kinstone fusion part of the game. There was also a bunch of stuff that seemed half-assed, such as the fact that you can't get the shield upgrade until after you defeat the final boss.

You're probably better of just playing the rom for now, and then wait for the bargain bin if you still think its worth it. All in all it's not a bad game, but it's not up to par with the other titles in the series and I'm sure there are more worthwhile games to spend money on.

Rockets is the only person I have run into so far that didn't absolutely love this game. Hell, it got Game of the Month in GameInformer, so it has to be good (beat out KOTOR II). Pick it up is my reccomendation.

KOTOR 2 is amazing but video game magazines generally give crap reviews I saw one Magazine give a bad rating to SOTN because of "bad graphics"

Well, it's usually a different Link each time, so it makes sense to do that. It's just a series of green-clad heroes saving princesses whose family name is Zelda.

I'll settle this too, I guess. There is as many Links as you think there are. There really isn't much of a story to the Zelda games. All of them are pretty much the same thing, and they don't really explain Link's backstory that much so you can come up with your own conclusions. Really, it doesn't matter at all. Zelda's story is shit anyway. It's just a game with good graphics and awesome gameplay. DONE. LUGNUT. GOT IT.

Mr Miyamoto: Having said that however, in whichever Zelda game in the past, the Link at the beginning was an ordinary boy but he was forced to fight against the evil somehow and that's because the player was Link himself .In the legend of Zelda game, it is most important that the player can feel that Link is growing, the players are growing and they are sharpening their own abilities. It is important to at the beginning to be involved in the destiny of the character and to fight against it somehow. During that process we can describe how Link will evolve into the new being. The link at the start of each game is an ordinary person but in the Wind Waker we described, the Link is a small boy you can find anywhere.

I personally like it. Although it is kinda short, it`s still fun. I`m not down with the characters looking (in a high-pitched annoying Japanese Schoolgirl voice) `Waaaaiiiiii, kawaii desu, ne!!` And Link runs like a little bitch.
