View Full Version : In regards to the board being down...
Mockery

Yes, while I'm sure you're all twitching after having the I-Mockery forums temporarily removed from your lives, they're back up for now. We took it down when we noticed that there were too many "Guests" coming to the board all at once (which as Ninjavenom and others pointed out, is a sign of a particular internet worm that's been attacking php boards such as this one). Siteturn has been a big help with this so far and they've moved the boards to a better server as well. They'll be monitoring things for a while to ensure that there aren't anymore problems.
For those of you who don't know, the boards have been fixed and you can now use the "edit" function with your posts once again.
Anyway it's all back up for now, so you can resume with the deconstruction of your social lives.

You are correct sir. I turned off the search function a while ago and intend to keep it that way. :o

Can we have the lurch function re-instated? The one that enables you to shamble from board to board, groaning and moaning?

That would go a long way to restoring the elitist feel the board had back in the day.

I think that's a stellar idea. Give the search function to the people who deserve it. Like me, Chojin and Carnivore. :)
