Seems Ford needed all the materials.

In all seriousness, though, this disgusts me. Our soldiers can't get the armor they need to protect them, but you can see it on the next episode of Pimp My Ride. Blech.

Thats a concept car. It is not meant for mass production. They might make three of those.

Also, I think GM, not Ford makes Hummers.

Plus, its all looks. The strongest part of that thin is low level bullet proof glass. Every thing else is plastic.

And I don't want to go into the tactical considerations behind making hummers into armored vehicles.

Jesus fucking christ thats the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but thats not going to stop every yuppie from wanting one. I bet it gets shit for gas mileage too, but hell who cares right? Poor mileage is the price you pay for something that will roll over in a turn and kill everything inside. >:

CONCEPT CAR

CONCEPT CAR

CONCEPT CAR

This means you won't be seeing it on the road.

You don't know that. If there is enough demand they'll mass produce them. EVERY car is a concept car at some point.

Its speciffically states that is a concept car.

I have never, ever heard of a concept car becoming massed produced.

the CONCEPT of this CAR is DISGUSTING

whether three or three million are made it's just rich people flexing. you don't need a fucking 45" LCD screen or a 4.5" LCD screen. buy a map and drive a sedan. watch tv in your house.

what a CONCEPT.

You're right, these people suck.

The assholes who would buy this thing is the same kind of insecure asshole who needs every little retarded gadget in their cellphone.

This is the kind of car a rich asshole drives when he has to take a detour through "darkie" neighborhood.

In reality, the only times you'll probably see this is either at a major auto show or in a rap video.

Nice try. That phone was a gift, and I don't even use it anymore.

Now I'm one of those losers who uses the free phone that came with the plan.

"Driving SYNUS can be just as lively and efficient with a 2.0-liter diesel engine that delivers 134 horses and 236 foot-pounds of torque and is also designed to offer outstanding fuel economy."

Not really, a 2 liter diesel actually is economical.

I would be surpised if they only offered the diesel. most people who would consider buying this in the US would want some gas guzzling 350 cubic inch V8 that has enough horsepower to compinsate for there small penis size.

THen again they would probably offer only deisel because there thinking that most of the sales are going to be in other countries.

Also, looking at its wheelbase, it doesn't seem like it would flip as easily as most other vehicles in its class.

This might actually be a positive sign if things like diesel engines and hybrids are goin to be pushed into the American market.

You say "pushed into" like it is a bad thing. I, personally, cannot wait to see pure hydrogen-power cars driving around.

It is a good thing, but I read recently that the car manufacturers are losing their shirts in the production of hybrids. They're supposedly expensive to make, nobody can afford them, but the companies do it anyway because it's good for p.r.

Granted, I read this in the neo-con rag the Weekly Standard, but it sounded accurate. :)

My uncle is on his second hybrid, and he's not particularly rich. Not even particularly upper-middle class. He's just a technophile and the only democrat in Southern Indiana.

I didn't mean "pushed into" as abad thing, just that companies might try sending them into the market at an accelerated rate.

Also,I think a new Honda Civic hybrid runs about $15k. Not bad for a brand new car thats supposed to be so trendy.

They tried making a hybrid Explorer, but there was no real horsepower or torque to it.
