alan moores great the killing joke is the single best batman comic ever but if i passed him on the street id be like sorry no spare change

haha, Alan Moore thinks Killing Joke isn't really his best work. He even says that in this interview. If you ask me it's still a good insite into the Joker's character. Even though he's never played as a tragic character anywhere else in DC continuity.

jack was tragic as hell in the recent gotham knights from issue 54 onwards it was a homage issue of killing joke with flashbacks of his tragic as hell they portrayed him as a failed comedian who couldnt get money for his family and turned to crime it rocked

Alan Moore is the best (or my favorate) graphic novelist of all time. The guy is a genious. His best comics are V for vendetta and league of extraordinary genlemen. They kick so much ass!
