Ok, WTF are honors? I registered for alot of "honor" classes. I know they are "good" but dont actually know what they are for... I know I sound like a complete dumass for asking this but... WTF ARE THEY?

They are harder and for people that find the original classes easy.

Yes, i knew that... but in our school, maybe not in others i dunno, we get "honors" for being in honor classes. What exactly are the "honors" for?

I am assuming they are awards or recognition for being in the top classes. :/

I think they look better on your college applications, or something.

if you get a C in an honors class and a A in a non-honors class like English and English Honors.. which would look better ? :O

ive been in "gifted and talented" for about 6 years. We call it TARGETS here though. I got out of the class last year, but they said im still in the program... I dont really get that. But it was kinda boring and we had a new teacher each year, so I just said fuck it and quit, lol.

I dont see how an avatar proves im talented or not talented but... OK :)
But if it did, wouldnt your avatar(nothing at all) show that you have no talents :/

Get out of my brain! I've had that thought since original post of this thread. Hmmm ... perhaps "Jeremy" needs some attention before he bites the recess lady's breast or sumthin' :)

at my high school, we had these things called AP (advanced placement) courses. they were on a 5 point scale instead of 4, so you could use them to inflate your GPA above a 4.0 if you were the straight-A type. even if you got a B, it was still a 4, so it was a pretty good scam. plus at the end of the year you could take a test for college credit.
but why you're asking i-mockery and not someone at your school is beyond me...
