A new toolbar :(

Recently, I got on my computer to find out that one of those shitty toolbars that a site installs without your permission was on my computer. I can't delete it, the program is not in my add/remove programs list. It puts irritating icons on my desktop, gives me popups to *ahem* strange porn, and turns everyday words into links to their little search engine. What do I do to get rid of something like this?

You could use spybot search and destroy or ad aware. Make sure you get the latest detection files and it will wipe all that shit out.
