I sent out a batch just now, so you guys should have it. I won't just post it on here for legal reasons. For those who have read it, Katie was notified by the psychiatric people and she's handled it really well. We've even spoken twice since then. Her family is demanding that she get a protection order against me, which I can understand.

My school told me that I won't be able to return to class there until 2007, and I have to maintain all B's at some other college for a year. I'm not allowed to contact any of my friends at school, and they said they'd call the police on me if I set foot on campus before being readmitted.

All in all, it's a pretty shitty situation but I don't care 'cuz I'm loaded up on happy pills and crazy pills.

Christmas was enjoyable, but I guess the childhood giddiness is lost on me. I got nice medieval gear, including a really good sword, shield, and period boots. Zach gave me a Viking meerschaum pipe, which I love. I started a diet, becoming roughly vegan. I’ve already lost all my holiday weight, so I’m optimistic that I might be back to normal by the end of Spring. I’ve been fencing on and off, which is quite enjoyable. Hopefully I can attend a tournament at Notre Dame come the end of the month.

Biggie: I planned on confessing to a therapist what had happened, but I didn't think I would be committed for it as promptly as I was. The funny thing was that the two people responsible for passing it along to the authorities were the ones I trusted the most.

The most common question I get is "why did you write the letter?" The second one is "would you really have killed her?" I really don't know the answer to that. I'm simply glad I didn't have to find out.
