I'm sure noone really cares about this what with emulators, and the SNES being 19 years olds. But I never fucking had one. I've been playing Super Mario World and dying an awful lot in A Link to the Past.

I have my original Super Nes from 91 and it is still being played to this day and works like a charm, the outside looks a bit beatdown however.

Super Nintendo has the best controller of all.

Eat shit. SNES had some good games but I was the kinda kid who loved gore and killing stuff. Nintendo did and still does cater more to kids who don't like that stuff. Genesis had games like splatterhouse 2 and 3, doom troopers, UNCENSORED Mortal kombats, etc. Plus the system itself is cooler looking :love

SNES had some great stuff, but yeah, I have to agree about the Genesis being cooler. Genesis just had so many games that I loved. I bought that system the day it came out after saving up for it for a while.

They both have great games and excellent exclusive titles. The list is longer with the SNES though so unfortunately my Genesis is not one of the 5 systems hooked up right now.

I think the SNES and The Genisis are about equal in all around cool, but with a gun to my head choice it would be Genisis, it just looked more badass, and with the Sega CD expansion.

The genisis and general Chaos wich is probably one of my most favorite games. All I liked for the snes was link to the past and the King of the Monsters series.

both had a dickload of awesome games; base wars and that.. robot game where you could rip off limbs and use them on yourself, mk1, and sonic & knuckles were my favorites on genesis, but snes had shit like starfox, zelda, smb, ff, chrono trigger, other square shit, etc. etc.

oh and mk1 was the only one to not have blood default on sieko you fag ;<

snes's hardware was a hell of a lot better, too. recently we've been reading all my old video game magazines from the 90s and eric ruth swears up and down that the genesis was only competing with the nes, then was crushed by the snes on its debut but i don't remember that happening at all ;< i know sega shot and raped the hole in its collective foot witht he 32x, sega cd, and 32x cd, but i remember there being a long and heated competition between those two systems, out of which there was no clear winner. or maybe i'm just out of my gourd ;<

I was all for the Genesis, mostly because I was one of the lucky kids that had the awesomeness that was Sega Channel.

Fifteen bucks a month and you'd be allowed to play the full version of up to 60 different games. Only bad thing, it wouldn't save your RPG progress...but I never played those games anyway.

I totally suck at that game, and my emulator doesdn't provide sound anymore, but DAMN that is a fun game.

Also, for the SNES, Kirby's Fun Pak/Kirby Superstar for the win!

I bought a new one. Mutant League Football is still awesome. Plus I picked up Sonic and Knuckles and I like it bunches. Even though I have Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Mega Collection Plus, its fun to play the real cart and the Genesis.
