I am scared, I am using a rom and emulator of my NES and I do not know how to use my Game Genie rom on my computer. Does anyone know how to do so?

emlators often have built in game genies and at least in the emulator "nesticle" this part is called rom patch.
so basically you dont need a rom just the game genie codes
you can find lots of them at this website:

there is codes for i think almost all of the old time consoles
reaching as far as playstation 2 i think it was.
this of course includes nintendo sega and MANY other too
oh yeah using this does not screw up the program.
