Pre-order bonus for next "Zelda" announced

Starting April 1st, those who pre-order the new "Legend of Zelda" will recieve a re-done version of "Wind Waker", with graphics like the new Zelda and two new dungeons. According to EGM, at least.

Yes I'm aware of that but from what I've read on the interweb, this one was pupposed to have a darker tone and some more violence possibly involving blood. I didn't ONCE hint at it being an M rated game.

i don't hate windwaker's graphics and most of my favorite games have graphics that blow on purpose (see: um jammer lammy). it's a style decision that happens to require a lot less effort and looks less good on a technical level which is what i meant ;<

Well news flash kids: That's what zelda was all about, just not windwaker. I swear some of you have only played wind waker :lol

I don't ever remember them saying "Ocarina of time/majora's mask with a brand new mature dark look since link to the past!" That's because all it was was the spirit of zelda with nice, 3d graphics. Zelda's mood was usually kind of dark, wind waker and the games made by capcom were the only kiddy-like ones.

Wind Waker was enjoyable while it lasted. Easy and short but it was fun to play. Nothing compares to LttP and OoT Master Quest but it was a good game. People just hate on it because it is Zelda and we all have our own opinions on where the series should go and how good each one should be. I hear alot of you guys also beating down Majora's Mask, again I enjoyed that one too.

I don't expect every game to destroy the last, it just doesn't happen anymore. When it does it is a pleasant suprise.

I'm buying this game just like every zelda (no I don't have the CD-I ones). It looks promising and we'll see how it turns out.

They concentrated on superior animation, and sprites that never penetrated eachother. The creator said he was frustrated that there is no point with a hand which looks perfect and realistic if its fingers go through the bottle when picking it up, or not touch it at all.
