I agree entirely, shotguns in almost every game untill counterstrike were the most well rounded and common weapons in any game, The only recent good shotguns were in GTA:VC, SA, and Doom3

I always felt the most passionate about the tranquilizer in Perfect Dark (I know, Perfect Dark, I know).
It made the coolest little "dju" sound whenever you fired it. And a "pop" sound when you reloaded it.
The tranquilizer could fire as fast as you hit the Z button, which really added to the fun.
You could blind people with it, or go for a lethal injection...
It's too bad that it wasn't that useful against CPU characters.

I always enjoyed the CMP150 as well. It held 32 shots before reloading, and you could hold 2 at once. And it made a sound like the guns in the GI Joe Cartoons.
