I haven't played em since 2 and don't really care to. I hear 4 is good though and it finally has decent gameplay but I probably won't be playing it. The RE series overall is damn overrated, imo.

5 stars is easy you just have to memorize the level and run around constantly. there are certain points where enemys respawn it seems, so after you get the killsprees you can camp there. the only really hard one is the dock level because of the chainsaw guys. leon destroys them ez (shotgun slows him down) but people like hunk have a tougher time. hunks my favorite, tmp and frag grenades with the coolest skin! woohah!

The only RE game I could actually play through was 3, I still don't know why, probably because Nemisis is the most badass Boss monster ever. The Chainsaw guys are bullshit compared to them.

I dont have RE4 and i dont think i ever will because it will not be on PC .
But i think RE already past its prime in RE2, then RE3 was pretty good and all the others where totally gay (but i didn't play any of them so im just guessing) and most probably just lame attempts to ride on the back of RE's initial sucess. :/

I bought a mainly for this game, and It was fucking worth it. They pulled the dev team pulled a halo and made one of the most memorable games For any of the next gen consoles. It suceeded in the area where most games fail horribly, Boss Fights. They managed to keep the realism factor as well as the Holy shit giant crazy monster, they also made the boss fights challenging yet fun all at the same time. Its also nice to see a rocketlauncher actually inflict the kind of damage it would to Cave Trolls, Midgets, and Giant spider monsters. Its practiacally a one hit kill every time :O
