Is it still tightening? After seeing an MSNBC article where Tommy Franks basically said they had no fucking clue abuot bin Laden's location in December 2001, I'm gravely concerned about the overall tightness of the noose. And apparently, I'm the only one.

Around that time Pentagon Spokesfolk were getting all pissy saying we NEVER knew where he was so we didn't lose him at Tora Bora.

Turns out we not only know he was there, we have in custody a guy who helped him escape.

So I would say we can't really talk about the state of the noose until such a time as we stop telling people we don't have any rope.
