I need an emulator. I have had these fucking sega saturn games for years, but have not been interested in buying a system. Where is one, how do I make it work? Is it too unpopular of a system to have an emulator?
Fighters MegaMix, Enemy Zero, Dragon Force, Dragon Force 2, will I ever play you again?
Any help would be appreciated.

It is one of the best games ever made because it is nutty. But I don't own it, and it looks like I will never play sega saturn again anyway. Unless of course I go look for a system (haha).

I've never played Nights fully, but I remember that when the Saturn was in its heyday, Nights was the game playable on every display Saturn I had seen.
Maybe because of that I have a worse impression of it, but to me it seemed like the only object of it was to fly around and fly through stuff.

Saturn has SOTN and you can play as Maria. :(

Yes sir, and they have a few more rooms, 2 more familiars, and the almighty SPRINT SHOES. But that game is even more rare than the PSX version.

the psx version isn't rare. in fact, it's used as currency down here.

Stereotype's right, actually. SotN is pretty common a find in Texas and Louisiana pawn shops and used game stores.

Seriously? Cuz I've been scanning every game store around here for a year now looking for that god forsaken game and I've only seen it once. The only reason I didn't get it is cuz it was scratched up to hell.

Yeah, I gotta call bull. It is impossible to find it. All the gamestores will tell you that it never comes in, and good luck finding it. I am on the westcoast though, and we like technology here a bit more.

I have both the jap and the us version of SOTN for PSX :x
I've played the Saturn version, the graphics suck balls. Seriously.

While calling bull may be your instinct, I'd have to say it's really not as hard as you'd think.
I was in a local place three days back (I forget the name offhand) and they had three copies of it.
I've seen a copy every once in awhile at the pawn shops when digging for used games as well, often enough to make a slight mental note for it.
One thing I might throw in to this discussion is that it's not as rare as it seems. For example, I've had no trouble finding the SNES versions of FF2, 3 or Earthbound within a month simply by hitting pawn shops/ outlet malls/ used game shops and garage sales.
Since I know the owners of these places on a casual level, I've heard these things discussed before and it seems to be general consensus that the game itself isn't rare but it's PERCEIVED as rare, therefore driving demand for it through the roof. The only game I've had legitimate trouble tracking down was Xenogears, and for some reason after months of nothing I suddenly saw THREE copies of it in Gamestop the other day.
Supposedly, these shops get 'rare' games at least once a week but since they're 'rare', people put their names on lists and the business chain begins.

I haven't had ANY problems finding xenogears or SotN. Xenogears is ALWAYS at Hastings and I've seen SotN in the fucking bargain bin at three Gamestop stores and I've seen it on the shelves at a lot of the smaller game shops around here.

That's exactly what I'm saying, but for some reason people think it's 'rare'.
Tell you what. You people send me or Stereotype money and we'll send the games back to you.
Or not. Maybe I just want your money.

I like how this turned into a "how rare is SOTN?" thread :)
Usually you can find anything if you look enough. Online or offline.
I got it a little after it came out then later they released it as one of the $20 bargain games. It was around alot and if you don't own the game by now, you suck.

I eventually did find it of course, it isn't IMPOSSIBLE to find. It probably would be easier like you guys if I was at the videogame stores often.
