United States Representative Candice Miller today announced a bold proposal to change the way Congressional Districts are apportioned to the various states. The Congresswoman is calling for an amendment to the United States Constitution to ensure only legal citizens of the United States are counted and considered when Congressional Districts are allocated.

Interesting. Were you all aware of this problem? I heard a statistic that the congressional district where L.A. resides is only 49% u.s. citizens.

Can't they just add an alien/citizen box on the census form?

I wasn't aware that the problem was so severe. I need to read the rest of the article later, but this wouldn't be the first time Mexicans have been the pawns of politicians. :(

The problem with this issue is that the Latino vote has become the new nascar dad, or soccer mom, or porno brother, or whatever. Going after the illegals in the census could be twisted as an attack on all Mexicans by the legal residents.
