Great asides (or whatever you call those parenthetical references), but you could've used a good editor. ;)

lookeee lookee at all the lovely people around here saying pleasant things about Max. Max have you been making with the funnies again? you bad boy. what about your day job? All those people looking to learn about science, how things work and why they work and instead they get wise cracks about the beautiful man that is Tom Cruise. shame on you. if it wasn't for Risky Business how would Generation X know about the musical mastery of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet band? Which in turn lent itself to a most amusing parody on ALF. So Mr. Burbank, while your comedy stylings are as ever impecable I think your target was a lttle off this time. So concentrate on your scienti-projects and think about what you have done.

I'm going to have to guess that 'swimini' is someone I know, probably from my actual real life.
Your excellent 'silver bullet' line notwithstanding (and it was excellent) I assure you that the bulk of my job at La Muse de scietiffic is in the realm of pencil pushing, and it gets done. Anything I do educationally for the museum is on a freelance basis outside my job, pays better, and so recieves prompt attention.
Be assured that both comedy and work still take a back seat to imaging physical union with Lucy lawless and Lynda Carter at the same time. I have my priorities.
