how's the new gorillaz?

pretty good. destroys the debut, which was kinda crap.
dangermouse is responsible for the highlights of this album, but damon isn't too shabby either.
it doesnt escape the feel of it being sorta lazy though. like albarn just said "this is a decent beat... lets get a decent melody, and now a decent hook... and now we have a song"
it's like he's deliberately on half-strength most of the time.

the album as a whole though is pretty satisfying though and a nice surprise.

I've been listening to Enslaved only for two days. ISA is a great album. Monumentum also. Beneath the lights kicks ass. ELD and FROST are also kickass epic black metal.

Here's another good black metal band for people who usually don't like black metal.
