Here's my attempt to make a 24-hour comic. I did it yesterday. It was certainly interesting, but I don't think I'll do that again very soon.

And yeah, it's the same premise as the first comic I tried to make, so I may have bent the rules of a 24-hour comic a little, but oh well.

It means that you sit down and attempt to draw a 24-page comic in 24 hours. Everything has to be done in that time. Story and art.

I showed that page to an AIM buddy of mine and he was all "Man, that was totally Black Metal."

I'd like to try that, if I wasn't too retarded to make even panels. I should probably get one of those L-shaped ruler things(square?).

You really developed your art style by leaps and bounds ;O

I'm super impressed ;D

Great work, Spectre ;>

Geez, I loved it. I was rolling.

"Why is my evil twin an eskimo?"

"WHY IS MINE GAY?!"

Priceless.

So...did you actually finish it? And if so, where are the rest of the pages?

If I'd finished it, I would have posted all of the pages.

But I didn't finish it because after I held my pencil for hours on end, I developed a dent in my middle finger which was making it painful to keep drawing. :(

It's better now, though.

It's pretty ok. Your speech bubbles are impossible though. And what about inking? Go by the 'if you haven't finished in time... keep going' variation of the rule and ink your stuff. Otherwise they don't look like comics. Get a good brush and do one-line inking, will be good practise.

If your going to ink it Spectre X, then you should fix the last panel on the seventh page. Make the experation date on the can easier to read and more visible, I completely missed the joke until they were at the hospital.

I did that to illustrate its age. It's like a time-jump, man.

I like that panel.
