Any other guys do this? I do it myself about once every 3 months.

I just put a number one guard on an electric clipper and run it all over my head. It takes like 1 minute. Then I take the guard off and run the razor along my neck. That's a little harder and takes like 3 minutes and requires a second mirror.

Anyone who goes to a barber is a sucker. Why pay someone $7 when you can do it yourself just as good and save some money?

If I ever decide I want a more complex hairdo than "number one all the way around" then I will go to a barber but for now I'm good.

Using an electric razor isn't exactly the same as cutting your hair.

I only occasionally let people cut my hair to prevent split ends, and even then they may only remove less than an inch.

And it's not a razor, it's a clipper! Enormous difference!!

"Getting a haircut" and "Cutting your hair" by association generally refer to getting parts of your hair cut into some kind of model. Just clipping it all off doesn't count as actually cutting your hair yourself. Cutting your hair yourself refers to you cutting your own hair into a model somewhat more complex than just an equal length everywhere.

No it doesn't... cutting it the same length all around is still a haircut.

When you use a razor or clippers it is technically "shaving" your head. You got a headshave.

I have to get my haircut by a stylist. If I do it myself it's like a monkey with cerebral palsy used a minature weed whacker to rid my head of the evil hair enemy. Damn monkey.

he has a point tho. i mean if i went to the barber and said i'd like a haricut, and the barber just sheared everything off, i'd kick him square in the nuts.
