It's right on the tip of my tongue. Is it a celebrity birthday? Do I need to go vote on something? Breast Cancer Awareness day?
Oh, well. Perhaps some media source, or even the President hisself, will remind me.
EDIT: Never mind- John Ritter died two years ago today. RIP John Ritter. :(

Well, I think there were some moments of silence in there that weren't for the victims of Katrina.
There was some event that used to be really easy for the administration to exploit, so much so that they mentioned it in every speech, but suddenbly tey aren't talking about it any more.
What thing could there have been that all their bragging about seems hollow now in the light of Katrina;s aftermath?
Oh, wait! OSAMA BIN LADEN! We used to talk about him a lot. Maybe it's something to do with him.

I think something important happened in the Revolutionary War today. I'm too damned lazy to look it up and make sure. Eh, screw it. I'm goin tuh bed.
