No, she's right. It actually is the best browser based webgame on the internet.
I have been playing it for just over a year, and am on my first reincarnation (ascended to valhalla after beating it then reincarnatied with all my stuff, familiars, and one skill to a new character).
I haven't played it for a while though, I guess I better just to keep my account from getting deleted.

You guys would have to have been dropped on your head as infants to not like a game with these classes:

Seal Clubber: Seal Clubbers hail from the frigid Northlands, because one character class always hails from the frigid Northlands. They rely on their Muscle to survive.

Turtle Tamer: The Turtle Tamer's mystical connection with their terrapin brethren imbues them with great power. They excell at moving very slowly and winning footraces with smug satisfaction. Their Muscle is the key to their success, and to their long lifespan.

Pastamancer: With their mastery of the arcane secrets of Noodlecraft, the Pastamancers are a force to be reckoned with. They rely on their Mysticality to get ahead in the world.

Sauceror: Long engaged in an uneasy truce with the Pastamancers, the guild of Saucerors protects the secrets of the Ancient Brotherhood of Gravymakers. Their Mysticality is their most important attribute.

Disco Bandit: The Disco Bandits boogie to and fro, hither and yon. Whence come they? None alive know. Whither strike they next? All live in fear of them and their Moxie.

Accordion Thief: The scourge of mariachis and polka bands, the Accordion Thieves have plied their malign craft since time out of mind. Their Moxie serves them well in both their adventures and their interactions with "the ladies/gentlemen."

its a fun game.
i bought a familiar gro thing, but i dont know how to get familiars.

You have to go to the council of loathing. They'll tell you to go get a mosquito larvae, but then they'll see that you're lonely and let you keep it. It'll grow into a mosquito if you put it in your terrarium, and then you can make it fight at the Cake-shaped arena.

I'm an Ascended Pastamancer (was a DB, but Chow Mein = much easyness), and I'll probably go back to DB with Pastamastery by the end of the week. My account is fairly old, too (I think it's around #84000).
