battlefront 2 covers the spot that they kinda missed in the first battlefront.

New areas, another hoth, playable jedi over all a pretty good package if you liked the first battlefront.

the visuals make it a bit difficult to tell who is your enemy and who is your friend.

I played in the jedi temple, ran around a corner and got killed by darth maul. But i got enough points to be mace windu and went back and killed his ass.

oh and hoth is back, even tho i havent played it yet.

After playing this for awhile i have to say that its actually really fun.

Expect some of the same gameplay from the first one with new types of games thrown in including CTF and Hunt (where one race fights another)

In inclusion to the normal solider Line up, the rebels have added a Bothan Spy who can go invisible and can shoot some kind of flesh eating weapon

During hunt you can be the following Races

Jawa
Wampa
Tusken Raiders
Ewoks
Wookies
Genonosions
Gungans (sigh)

There are 18 maps, with some returning from the last game with addons.

Heros are fun to play with and can be used after getting a certian number of points. Usually they are area specific.

Luke Skywalker (with Green lightsaber and Pilot uniform)

The Emperor (he doesnt walk, he just flys everywhere and has force lightning)

Darth Vader (who is taller than Grievious for some reason)

The Space Battles are cool in a "hey, look im flying a tie interceptor" sorta way. The battle is between two ships in space. The Two trade Blows while you can either take out enemy fighters, take out the enemy ship or chill on your own and run around repairing damage.

Over all the game is fun for star wars fans, but may seem kinda bland for everyone else. But its real redeming factor is in the multiplayer aspect. Its fun fighting together with or agaisnt a friend as Jedi, in a ship, or just duking it out as the regular soliders.

And above i mentioned Hoth was back. Its basically the same map from the first game but they added Wampa and another area with one of the rebel transports getting ready to take off.

I loved the cloud car. The Genosian fighter was also a kick to use.

Have any of you played the Hoth level yet? Using the speeder is exactly like a starship. It's way too sensitive. I can't do shit in it anymore.

i just hated the fact that the AT-ATs are way more accurate, have a faster rate of fire and have an even more powerful weapon.

Its cool i jumped on top of an AT-AT with a jedi and lightsabered the fuck outta it.

I just wish this was only for one system. With four different formats, online players are spread out too thin.

I'm getting it for PS2, but everyone else has it for PSP or PC. And Comrade Rocket is the only person to buy it for XBox.
