DAMN one premium system just went for $10,000 with 2 games.

others for over $3,000..... man now I wish I preordered it.

I'm guessing it'll drop quite a bit now since those were the first but hey if you can get one, sell it!

As soon as the Playstation 3 goes up for preorder, break your piggy bank and sign up for a half dozen with a bunch of peripherals and games, then turn around and sell them during the post-release shortage.

I was gonna try to get one last night, but when my friend got to target at 8pm and said there was already a line of 17 people for the 9am opening i said fuck it. He got 2 systems. I really regret not going now :(

Some of my coworkers went to a department store near work first thing this morning and they each bought an X-box that they're going to resell on eBay for at least twice as much. If they can't sell it, then they're going to keep it because they'd have bought one in a few months anyways. :lol

They said that the store had no one in it, except for a bunch of old people who wouldn't have been buying a console anyways.

there were people at the wal-mart i work at by 3pm. by the time we brought them out (midnight), there were about 50 people (mind you, i live in a really small town).
we only had 8 x-boxers, so 42 folks must have been really mad.

Why even buy a XBox 360. The only good game coming out is Dead Or Alive 4 and that isnt worth buying a system over.

The only good game coming out is OBLIVION (which will also be coming out on PC in the coming months) and that IS the only game worth buying a 360 over.

PS i, JeffTheNinja, hate dead or alive 4 because it has crappy characters and boring gameplay

Oblivion was the big one for me as well but we all knew that was going to be delayed. Just a ploy to get more preorders. I'll have to see what the PC reqs will be for this one.

Heard Perfect Dark didn't turn out all that awesome. :/

I wonder when this system will be worth buying, the list of games coming out in the next several months doesn't look especially great.

a lot of people are nay saying the 360, but I remember that it took most people a good LONG time to warm up to the first xbox.

from everything that I've seen, Perfect Dark was good, it just wasn't the perfect 10 that everyone was expecting. most of the reviews that I've seen have been around 8.5/10.
