My friend and I, along with a 3rd guy (one of our friends will do it), are each gonna get a triforce tattoo on our forearms but each of us'll have 2 of 3 triangles shaded black or something, and the 3rd will either be gold or the color it represents (ie: power - red- din).

I'm all for it and we're the kinda people who don't care but in case I'm in desperate need of a reality check I figured I'd get some opinions.

One of my friends has a bunch of tatoos and one of them on his arm is Amano's (ones from the book) drawing of Edgar sitting with his back to Kefka with Ultros on the corner of them. It's pretty badass actually. Took forever for it to get done. Long process, expensive and full color.

I wouldn't do that myself but hey whatever works I guess. I'm not sure how strange it would look if that was his only tatoo though. Most people wouldn't know what it is anyway and the art looks cool. Part of the triforce wouldn't really do much for style/art though.

this raver kid came in the bowling alley once and was bragging about his Triforce tattoo. He was thought he was all bad ass because he had Links part of the triforce, but thats when i pointed out he had zelda's. He got all mad and left.

I dont know whats worse, the fact he got the tattoo or the fact that i knew it was wrong.

But back on topic, if you were going to get the triforce, dont get JUST the triforce since that is now a cliche'd tattoo like angel wings or a barcode. Mix it in with a shield design, or mabye even the master sword. Do what you want to it to make it unique.

I think it'd be great, but don't shade them black, just tattoo the outlines of the other two triangles very faintly, that's how it was in the game.

A small tattoo of mother brain on your the back of your head or a Starman or Geno on your body would be even better.

i think any videogame tattoo would come across as extremely lame. it's your body though, so my advice is that once you are 100% sure you know what you want, wait 6 months (ideally a year, but that's pushing it huh). if you still want it after that then go for it.

also, when it comes to getting a tattoo, make sure you go to the best artist in your city, or go to another city if you have to. and be willing to pay at least $100/hr (top artists never charge less). this thing is gonna be on you for the rest of your life so it's not the type of thing you want to be shopping around for cheap deals for...
