Best RPG ever!

For SNES- I would have to say Chrono Trigger or FF3
For Ps- I dont have one :(
Next-Gen systems- Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, this game is demi-godly

It has always been "officially" FF6. I don't play the re-release PS Anthology version (only for FFV). I play it on my super nintendo (which is a million fucking times better) where it is and forever will be FFIII.

I haven't played to much Earthbound, played it for rom, but got really bored with it. My favorite RPG is probably Star Ocean 2, even though the battle system blows, story is pretty good.

Earthbound to me was excellent, just because of how different it was from all other rpgs. was it the best? no, but it deserves credit up there with the best of them, it was purely awesome to play from start to finish

Final Fantasy VII was by far the best RPG on Playstation. FFVIII was lame in comparison. How the hell can you leave that out on your list? Earthbound was the best on SNES. :)

8 seemed stupid those goddamned gfs were way too good. I watched my friend play it. he got to level 99 and pretty much quit cause the damn game was too easy :(
