The part where the dark matter reactor explodes and G-man walks up to you seriously makes this one of the best video game endings i have ever seen.

So Freeman was hired by the combine to help weed out the resistance? Or was he hired by some higher being to help destroy Breen, the combine and the rest of earth?

and he can be hired by other galatic entities to help with there... whatever? That would be cool for a 3rd game where you are thrown into a warzone and you dont know who to fight with since either one could be manipulating you.

It'd be nice if they cut the load times down to around ten minutes per scene in HL3.

i wouldnt mind the load times if they diddnt have a loading time for the damn menu screen when you start the game so you can see 3d fanciness (PC version, not sure about the xbox versions situation)
