Last night me and my family had dinner at place called Kabuki, which is a Japanese hibachi restaurant (you know, where the chefs cook the food at the table and do all the cool knife shit.). Anyway things were going really cool until I was served the the rice and vegetables. I started eating it, and just before putting a morsel in my mouth, I looked down at it and realized something weird. There was a piece in it that could have been an onion, but could also have been a maggot. It had just enough characteristics of both to make you really wonder what the fuck it was. Needless to say, I didn't eat it. I stealthily pushed it off the opposite edge of my plate so that I couldn't see it. I figured, however that it was no reason to not eat rest of my dinner, given, if I'm careful of any other questionable edibles, I know it's all well-cooked.

Upon leaving the place, I noticed it had a sanitation grade of 90. Shit.

Yes, I only posted this because I'm bored.

is 90 low?

YES! If you score below a 95, you've really let your sanitation go lax. I don't know exactly how it's scored, but my dad is a Bojangle's manager, and he says there's no reason a restaurant should score less than 95.

I work at a chinese restaurant. If it falls in the food and it's edible, it gets fried

How can an onion look like a maggot?

If it was an onion, it was fairly mishapen. Come to think of it, it was much more likely an inner piece of squash than an onion, but still looked fairly larval. I know it sounds far-fetched, but trust me when I say it plausibly could have been any of the three. :puke

There's a few places around here like that...one time I saw a chef "accidently" flip some shrimp into this whiny kid's face, which only made him scream and more whiny :(
