I honestly don't know where else to turn to, so I figured you guys might steer me in the right direction.

I'm looking to get my PS2 modded somehow so I can run PGEN, a genesis emulator for the PS2. Problem is, I don't know where to start. I know I might need to get a chip. There was some kind of data overflow exploit, but it won't work on the slim version. My options are probably a swap disc, but I can't seem to find a place that'll tell me how to make one. Arrgh, sorry if all this sounds dumb, maybe someone with a modded PS2 could help me out. :/

why do you need to emulate genesis on the playstation, just do it on the computor :/

wow this was hard http://www.modchip.com/

seriously if the only reason you want to mod your ps2 is to run a sega emulator, you can get a dreamcast and run one there for free(it works ok). or just get an xbox and mod that(its much easier to mod, has better emulators, has more apps, and doesnt even require a chip if done right).

Basically I would spend the 50 dollars more to get a used xbox rather than to mod a ps2.

ps2 modding is a bitch and ther is alot to solder.
