View Full Version : Can KulterKlub be the new Vince

I have to say I'm really impressed with the early results.
He's verbose and he wrotes very badly in a unique style.
He eagerly swallows and regurgitates poorly constructed paranoid political spin.
He sees himself as a victim holding majority view points.
he has his own web site.
So far he's made no grandiose claims about who he is/what he wants to be, with the exception of his goal of becoming a college professor, which approached Vinthian heights.
BUT, he has something Vinth didn't bring to the table, which is that the political movement he identifies with woud never have him, especially after he tattoos his face and hands.
I'm torn. I just don't want to get hurt again. But I'm so tempted. Am I just falling into an old pattern? Do I really like TurkeyLurkey or am I just missing Vinth?
What do you all think?

i say go for it!
you have to be willing to open yourself up again, max. i know your wounds are still fresh from the whole vince debacle, but you'll never find the real deal unless you try again!

Your problem might be that you're looking for Vince.
Often, we try to see the things we liked in our past relationships in our new ones. That can often create tension, and it isn't very fair to Kultur.
Love Kultur for being Kultur. Don't try to make him Vince, Max. :(

I thought I was gay until I started kissing boys, and then i realized it wasn't that great. And so I wasn't gay.
Woah. So you hate gays because they're bad kissers? That's hilarious, man.

I think I like him better than Vince. So far, he's been less likely to resort to empty insults like "suck it, you fat jew." He kind of reminds me of thekapn in that he is constantly declaring personal victories within each of his threads.
I think he's a bold new idiot for a bold new era.

I hope you're right. I think we need to draw him out a bit more. I love his blog, but I haven't figured how to see entries any earlier than a month or so ago. I want to read the first heady days of his blogging, the inevitable 'manifesto' moment where he tells what MAKES him blog. I bet it's a really, really different reason than the eighty gabillion other blogs out there.
I don't know. I have a feeling about this one. I hope he stays. I think he might be DREEEEEMY.

You do have to love me for being me, and I will promise to stick around.
Right now I am actually dividing my blogging into two realms:
My current one will remain that of a personal level and it will include politics from time to time.
My new one, which I am preparing, is going to be one of those search-engine accessible archives of politics and debate, and kulturkampf issues.
It is even one of those fancy .com's.

hahaha realms
You should call it 'KULTURKAMPF'S LAYER' and get it hosted on geocities. I can provide the flaming torch animated gifs.

Can he go into your Kloset? than you'd both be in the same place and easier to make fun of.

That's the measure of how in-the-closet KK is: even Jack is telling him to come out of the closet.

Yeah, he's practically taking out our colective tonsils from behind if you know what I'm saying through my gay metaphor.
