I don't know why everyone thinks Jesus would be such an interesting person to meet. Jesus was boring as hell. All he ever did was sit on the couch and watch sitcoms. His biggest hobby was collecting those limited-edition plates with Elvis's face they advertise in Sunday newspaper magazines. His second biggest hobby was his afghan collection. He made all his afghans, and he was always saying how disappointed he was with how they turned out.

Jesus was one dull motherfucker >:

Gee ... this was way more insightful than I EVER could have thought it would be :rolleyes Maybe this WAS kind of gay. It's usually a pretty good way to judge the character of the people on a message board. I thought that I'd get more interesting input. BTW, props to Les for the Joe Strummer pick. I think that, in the music category, I'd pick Robert Johnson. I wouldn't even have to meet him necessarily. I would have just like to have seen him play live in some old bar somewhere.

P.S. This post applies to those with smart alecky responses. I just wanted an honest reply ... is that so WRONG?! :/ :)

I downloaded the recent Phish studio album - can't remember the name of the album just now. I can't get that "Pebbles and Marbles" song out of my brain.

They're sort of like fusion jazz meets "The Greatful Dead". Lots of extended jams ... good for kicking back and relaxing to ... not for everyone but I like them. One of my friends accused them of being a little like "muzak" but I thought that that was too harsh.

Phish is a hippie band, only hippes like them that's why they are a hippie band. That and Phish sucks. Hippies like things that suck, dirty hippies. Phish plays hippie music, hippies like hippie music. I like hippies, don't get me wrong. But I don't know, they like Phish and Phish are pretty lame. They also like alot of other stuff I don't see eye to on but that's okay, hippies are neat. But Phish? Sucks.

Jesus would make one comfy afghan. Don't you think?

He would definatly be first on my list because.....
-a miracle would be awesome to see
-he would throw a better party than even George
-he could help me find a church that didn't bum me out
-if he had been with us when we all saw Marilyn Manson and Macauly Culkin, they would have definatly let RoG take a picture!
-again his comfy, lovin' afghans

~Elizabeth Cady Stanton-for her courage and sense
~Mary Dyer-ballsy, ballsy kiss-my-ass Quaker women hung for her brawn
~Katherine Hepburn
~Micheal Moore :)

This was SUPPOSED to be a "Let's Pretend!" thing not a philosophical debate on fate and predestinattion. :)

Come on now, people! Get creative.

Optimus Prime was a genius choice.
I want to meet Randy Rhoads, too.

Why does everyone want to 'one day meet -RoG-?'

Chances are, if you want to meet Mock, he doesn't want to meet you.

McClain, you chose Dane Cook!! I thought I was the only person that thought he was that brilliant.
I never thought I'd see a comedian tell a laughing audience to "be quiet" so he could go on with what he was saying.

Wow, Optimus Prime would be key.
Although, Prime loses much of his merit if he can't show off his awesome gun.

So why not bring Megatron along as well? (we can kick him in the shins)

Now, let's go from cellulose to cellulite:
1) Winston Churchill
I've wanted to meet Winston Churchill since I was in the 6th grade. He has a reputation for being a hilarious character, and he had extreme resolve during WW2. That, and a close friend of mine is actually a distant cousin of his. Neato.
2) Johnny Knoxville
God, I want to punch that guy.
3) Charles Manson
Sucks that somebody beat me to it.
http://24.60.240.39/manson.jpg
My Churchill-relative friend bought be that for Christmas one year, completely out of the blue. Very interesting read.
4) Rivers Cuomo
Wow, I'm going to get the shit pounded out of me for saying that, aren't I?
5) James Michael Curly
Perhaps the most corrupt politian ever. The only Mayor of Boston ever to have been elected while incarcerated.
If you're going to vote for James Michael Curly, vote often, and early.

I read that book, and I almost felt like I was going schizophrenic reading it.

Manson's ghostwriter didn't do much to make that book come close to making much sense either. My guess is the ghostwriter was trying TOO hard to sound like Manson himself.

In no order whatsoever:

Mike Patton
Andrew Vachss
Greg Graffin (wait, I already met him. Twice.)
Chris Hannah from Propagandhi
Steve Buscemi
And probably either Tom Hanks or the two chicks from Dance Hall Crashers.

Oh, and just for nostalgia's sake, Chris Jericho when he was in WCW.
