Me and my friends Zack and Frankie are getting another radio show at the community station. Frankie and I've had one before at a separate radio station, but that kinda got shot to hell. Thusly, us three're gonna have a weekly two-hour show every Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 starting probably next week.
Now unless you live five minutes away from Sherwood, Maryland, the signal is actually veeeery weak, so the only way to hear it is to get onto the radio through the online broadcast. We're also planning on buying a place to host the .mp3's of each show, since you can burn CDs right at the station.
The show is actually kinda weird in it's execution. Each week one of us brings in some entirely new stuff from all ends of the music spectrum, focusing mostly on things with electronic influences. The thing is, each one of us has a distinct taste in music. Frankie is a Beatles freak and gravitates more to things resembling them, so he might throw in some My Morning Jacket. I'm pretty broad in my tastes so I'd run the gamut from Baby Mammoth to a remix of Tiësto. Zack is a big sucker for Big Beat and some progressive hip-hop along the lines of Propellerheads and Swollen Members. We don't care if you only listen once every three weeks, JUST LISTEN
The concept show is still under review by all of us, but we at least know that we're going to have one. Best part is, you can call in and harass us or praise us or yell at me for a post I've made or whatever.
Best part? Guest stars may include Chojin, MLE, DJ Potatoe, Ninjavenom, adept_ninja, CaptainBubba, anyone else I can disturb to get on the damn thing. Who knows, maybe I can snatch up The Damp Moose or even OAO :eek :eek :eek
