I don't give a briss if this is old, I'm not as up to date as you nerds.

I fucking hate rom hacks, I have only played one for more then one minute (The Mario Streetfighter one) before turning it off. But this rom hack of Super Mario 3 that I recently come across is above and beyond fantastic. New Levels, New Enemies, New Mario Types, New Weather System, a completely brand New Game almost.

In fact, it may be the best game I have ever played if it wasn't so damn hard. You may want to cheat somehow (save states, but I wouldn't use game genie cheats only because you'll miss out on the new mario types)

Read this review of it which has a download link at the end, or not, see if I fucking care.

Is it wrong to like this more than the original? I blame the shoe.

Hint: You can store the show by pressing Up + B, you can store it forever, that's how great this game is.

Bah, couldn't get it to work. Black screen with sound on my emu. :( :(
EDIT: Yay, figured out what I was doing wrong.

Try FCEUltra or Nessie for emulation.

Finding the keys are hard, post them if you find them.

Well I found world 2's by luck, I forgot which level it was, so I think I'll look again later.

I have FCE Ultra but it won't work, and Nessie runs like shit on my computer. :(

Any ideas?

Which are you missing? I remember where I found some of them.

I need them from Starry Slopes and Colossal Classics.

In Starry Slopes it's in the fortress, I think. Or was that in Colossal Classics? Or the Wood one. Anyway, you have to collect all the coins in the level until you come to an arrow made of coins. Collect those, and then return to the beginning of the level. No, wait, I'm pretty sure that IS Starry Slopes.

The one in Colossal Classics I'm not sure about. What's the hint?

What the hell does the heart item do?

Also, level 7's key is a little too easy.

My mistake was that I forgot to unzip the file and just use the .nes file. So, if that helps anyone else...

Level 7 is hard. :(

Am I missing something in the levels where the bomb dude just chills out above you? I've flown all the way up, killed him a bunch of times, but nothing works.

My normal emulator is FCE Ultra, and its all black. I tried 3 other emulators and only one worked. And up+B doesn't work on it.

EisigerBiskuit

It has to be exact. Have to do it a whole buttload of times to get it right.

Seriously how do I get it to work for FCE Ultra? :(

It's a survival level, you have to last I think 50 seconds and then the level ends. Same thing with the spinning platforms.

There are also levels where you have to get all the coins in alloted time, they are hard.

But not as hard as the castle.

The heart gives you two items at once. Invisible cap and magic wand, I think. The spade gives you both the leaf and flower.

Well, that's just gay.

Still, this is still a pretty tough/fun game.

Just assign a seconed button to up and B, and have the seconed button for them be the same button.

For example, I made my B: X, R
and I made my up: (up), R

Sweet, now I can store the slightly advantageous boot.

One key to go, I have used three diffrent emulators to open then and they all did it flawlessly, and Up and B worked fine for all of them. I don't know what's going on with you guys.
