My best friend, Chris, and I were playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, on flight move. I was (unsuccessfully) trying to crash into him in the air, and I told him to stand still next to this brick wall. I fly towards him, yelling "PHSYCO CRUSHER!!!"(like M.Bison in Street Fighter Alpha 3.pardon the spelling), and I missed him only slighty, smacking into the wall. We both burst with laughter, almost to the point of tears. Those were good times.

pretty much any Game of Rockets and Warthogs in Halo 1.
and Shield walls in Counter Strike :D
Most noteably one time at a Xbox lan where 14 guys with rockets all fired at 2 guys in a warthog at the same time, it sent them catapulting into the sky and out of the map.

Beating my friend's asses at Street Fighter 2 Turbo is always worth a laugh. I always use combos with heavy punches and kicks, and special moves as either Ryu or Ken.

They shoulda just left the script EXACTLY as it was and mabye made the the enemies a little less relentless. I would have died happy just to have the first person aiming, some destructable objects, and small tweaks, but I was kinda dissappointed with the results. For another anecdote, when my friend Connor fought Liquid Snake after destroying Metal Gear, it amazed me how many times he kept coming back (I alluded it to the T-1000). Then again, who wasn't surprised.

With half of the new members being complete retards with what I surmise as maybe a stick of bubblegum functioning for their central nervous systems, I'm almost surprised that no one made any mention of having games like Jeopardy and typing in curse word answers.
HOWEVER, heh heh... I do remember my NES would on occasion get glitchy and I'd input the same bastard answers into my copy and laugh out loud when "What is cheese-covered monkey cock" would get a "CORRECT QUESTION" and award me my $100.

Wellllllll....
Blockbuster's running a "Game Rentals This Week Only $2.99" promotion so I rented a few games I'd never gotten the chance to try yet...
One of the ones I rented, The Matrix: Path Of Neo, was one of these oddly hilarious situations...
Should this be a SPOILER ALERT for you uppity types? Since it's in the beginning of the game, it ain't spoiling a thing. Asses.
In the beginning Morpheus gives you the choice between the red pill and the blue pill and I'd decided to grab the blue pill to see what happens. After expressing his disappointment, Morpheus leaves Neo be and he awakens by his alarm clock as if it were all a dream.
At this point my girlfriend (who's playing The Sims 2 on the TV opposite the one I'm on) looks over and I say to her, "Well, that ended better than Matrix: Revolutions did." For some reason this cracked her up and that in turn set me off too. Eh.

Having escort missions in Smash Brothers.
Each person gets two characters...the first is your defender, and you get 5 lives with him. The second is the escort, who gets ten. You guard your second character with your first, and the first doesn't move at all. It's kind of like Capture The Flag, I guess. Fighting the defender is UNACCEPTABLE, you have to go after the escort UNLESS you're protecting your own.
Hard, I know.

In Super Smash Bros., I played agains't this kid as Jigily Puff, and I would drive him nuts by following him around, putting him to sleep, and then doing that special attack (where you have to be very close up) and sending him flying.

I remember when I was quite a bit younger I used to hang out with a load of kids from my neigbourhood (as you do) and we used to play some wrestling game but secretly all gang up on this one kid then we all just keep him on low hp so he couldn't do anything and then throw him out of the ring. He usually started crying. It was pretty funny.

Playing Tecmo Bowl on the Genesis, and winning only after a fieldgoal hit the upright and bounced in. It was the first time I was physically attacked for something that happened in a video game.
Now that I type that I don't think I've been physically attacked since then due to something in a video game. Damn douche bags in 9th grade.

Flooring every player on the field in Temco's World cup on the NES.Also shooting the merchants ship in Z:WW full with arrows or drop bombs on it is very satisfying.Or shooting your red boat in the head with the grappling hook over and over again.Or repeatedly lower your grapple hook in and out the water very fast is also fun...

I can only remember when Me and my brother were playing WWF Royal Rumble for the Snes. We were playing a Royal Rumble match and we were the last two men in the ring. My brother always beat me at that game (he is 7 years older than me) and He was acting like the big man and just spending 10 minutes beating on me. So he went and Got on top of the Turnbuckle and was about to jump on me when I got up and pushed him off the Post and out of the ring.
