Watch the HD version - this game looks super sweet like fuck. Also it's one of teh first to use DirectX 10.

That's pretty wicked. I loved how things like trees could get cut down by gunfire.

I seriously would be too busy cutting down the forest with grenades and gunfire. In addition it better have a minigun so I can make a clearing wiht bullets ala predator.

I hope they decided to use AGEIA hardware physics support (or the nv ATI equivilent, HavokX) as then they could really go all-out on the breakable terrain and particle effects. Seems doubtfull though, as otherwise they probably would have mentioned it at some point.

I guess there is still life in conventional physics.

I'm seriously madd its hard enough keeping track of video cards and new faster RAM, I'm not looking forward to having to upgrade my "Physics Processor" in the next year or two.

Haha. That's exactly what I was gonna say. That would be awesome reenacting that scene.

Well if nvidia and ATI get their way, people with SLI/Crossfire systems will simply have some of the physics processing offloaded onto one of the cards while the other concentrates on graphics. It's going to be interesting to see if AGEIA's solution takes off with such big players working on a competitor.
